We offer a wide range of instruments and styles, including piano, violin/strings, singing, guitar/ukulele, band instruments, and more. Our goal is to help you develop your talents, build self-confidence, and achieve your musical aspirations.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What ages do you teach?

    Kindergarten children through retired adults are all welcomed! The approach will be catered to the individual, taking into account motor skills, attention span, and a comfortable pace of learning.

  • What instruments do you teach?

    You name it, we probably teach it! Popular options are: piano, strings (violin, viola, cello, bass), band instruments (clarinet, saxophone, flute, etc.), guitar, ukulele, singing, and more!

  • Do I need an instrument at home?

    There is a direct correlation between the ability to practice consistently and success achieved by doing so. If you do not wish to purchase an instrument just yet, rentals are available through the studio or a local supplier.  We will help you get set up with everything you need!

  • What do I need to purchase to start?

    At your initial assessment lesson we will discuss the necessary materials required to start.  This typically consists of a lesson book and correlating theory book.

  • How long are lessons?

    Lessons are taught in 30 minute sessions, once per week. Practice is an important daily habit to create at home between lessons.

  • Where are lessons taught?

    There are a few options! Our studio location is in the Cave Spring area, located across the street from Cave Spring High School.  We also offer in-home private lessons (at a premium rate).

  • What styles of music do you teach?

    Our studio curriculum is based on the state education standards of learning for music education.  We also supplement lessons with material catered to the student's preferences, such as classical, jazz, contemporary, etc.

  • How much do lessons cost?

    The tuition is based on the following 10-month school calendar:

     


    Private 1-on-1 Lessons: $1100/term (August - May)

    Group Lessons: $800/term (August - May)

    We do offer a monthly payment plan if preferred.


    Tuition rates are subject to change from time to time, dependent on inflation and operation cost increases.
